Applications are currently open!
INFORMATION。 • Please post your application to this page, either in comments or in a link. All applications are screened. • Please check the reservation list to see if your character has been reserved before applying. • For applications that receive a Revisions Request, you will be given 72 hours to provide us with the necessary revisions. If not, you will have to wait one week before applying for that particular character again. • Decline notices will always come with a reason. A player can receive a decline notice three times before their application will no longer be accepted for that character. • Remember: quality over quantity! We're not looking for an essay, we're looking for accuracy and proof that you have thought about and know your character. • We accept applications for canon characters, AU characters, and original characters. For the most part these are all fundamentally the same, but there are a few minor changes/additions for AU and OC applications. Please take a look over the following information in order to get a better idea of what it is we're looking for!
CANON CHARACTER APPLICATION。 PLAYER。 handle. What do you want us to call you? age. Due to the dark and adult themes present in this game, you must be 18+ to join. contact info. AIM, plurk, email, personal journal, whatever type of contact info you'd like to provide. CHARACTER。 THE BASICS canon. What is your character's canon? character name. What name(s) do they go by? gender. Make of this what you will. age. Make of this what you will. appearance. All we are looking for here is a short paragraph that describes their general appearance including things like any notable quirks, habits, or traits. Examples of things to discuss may include how they present themselves, if they have an accent, tattoos/piercings, scars, etc. history. You may provide a link to a wiki article or something of that nature for this section. pull point. What point in their canon are they coming from? THE PSYCHOLOGY personality. As understanding your character's personality is fundamental in playing them accurately, this section is the most important part of the application. Please provide us with at least three paragraphs of your character's personality. In addition, because of the psychological/emotional horror elements of this game we would also like to see you touch on points such as how your character is like under duress and what they desire and fear. It is also encouraged to discuss how they may adapt or react to their darker side coming to light. weaknesses. Please give about one paragraph of things you feel is a character weakness. These things can be emotional, psychological, and physical. SKILLS/ABILITIES basic skills. List here things that your character is skilled with that is not considered supernatural or superhuman. supernatural & superhuman. If your character has any otherworldly powers and abilities, please list/explain them here. Note that the only power which will no longer function properly is teleportation. A character can teleport to other places within the game but not out. If your character has no supernatural/superhuman powers, then simply write n/a. SAMPLES At the moment, the only links to previous threads we will accept for a sample is a thread from the test drive meme. Alternatively, you may choose one of the following prompts to write a prose sample with: 1. Desire 2. Lust 3. Power 4. Anger 5. Sorrow 6. Madness 7. Anxiety How these prompts are interpreted is up to you. AU CHARACTER APPLICATION。 In addition to the necessary information in the canon character, AU applications also require: alterations. Please give us a short paragraph or two of what makes this character AU. If they are coming in from another game, this is the place to briefly describe the game, what they went through, and what kind of CR they developed. If they are a genderbend please tell us how the gender role changes the character from it's original. Basically, we need to see that you have put thought and dedication in to your AU. ORIGINAL CHARACTER APPLICATION。 In addition to the necessary information in the canon character application, OC applications also require: world. Please describe the world that your character comes from. The length of this will vary depending on your particular character - if they are from a world not unlike our own, then this section may not be longer than a few sentences. If it is very different, you may find yourself with a couple paragraphs. In any case, please remember that this section is meant to describe what the world itself is like and how your character fits into it, not your character's personal history. history.
